A shocking misconduct hearing has revealed allegations of inappropriate behavior by a North Wales Police officer, PC Pamela Pritchard. The incident occurred at a leaving party for a colleague at Caernarfon Rugby Club in March 2024. According to the hearing, PC Pritchard is accused of multiple instances of misconduct, including groping and kissing colleagues.
The hearing was told that PC Pritchard put her hand over a male colleague's groin twice and attempted to kiss him while they were at the bar. She is also alleged to have grabbed a female colleague's breasts and tried to kiss an inspector. These incidents took place in a large group of officers, including PC Pritchard and another male officer, identified as 'Police Constable B'.
PC B described the incident, stating that PC Pritchard grabbed his genitals and squeezed them, causing him to feel humiliated. Later, she sat on his knee, kissed him on the lips, and put her hand around his neck, all of which were deemed highly inappropriate in a public setting.
Another female police officer, 'Police Constable A', also reported being groped by PC Pritchard. She stated that PC Pritchard grabbed her breasts and squeezed them, an action that lasted around two seconds but was deemed non-accidental. PC Pritchard denies all allegations, including attempting to kiss another colleague and using inappropriate language.
The hearing, which is expected to last until Thursday, will continue to gather evidence and testimonies to determine the truth behind these serious allegations.
