This permit lists Scenario as the contractor, with a scope of work to install set elements inside the attraction building. Scenario is not a frequently used vendor for Walt Disney Imagineering, but the company previously carried out work on the latest version of Test Track at EPCOT. The company specializes in show sets, props, animated and static figures, rockwork, architectural ornamentations, and scenic painting. The filing is significant because it appears to be confirming that work is moving beyond structural phases and into interior fit-out. Set elements typically include large-scale scenic pieces, props, and environmental details that bring the attraction story to life. For the Encanto ride, this would mean pieces themed to Casita and the Madrigal family home. The attraction takes guests inside the magical house on the day Antonio Madrigal receives his gift - the ability to communicate with animals. Guests join the family celebration and explore the home. Construction on the main show building is well advanced. The steel framework is complete and the roof is in place. Crews are now working on the queue area at the front of the building. Tropical Americas is an 11-acre expansion at Animal Kingdom that also includes a new Indiana Jones adventure set inside a Mayan temple and an animal-themed carousel. The land centers on Pueblo Esperanza, a Latin American-inspired town with an open-air market and a large quick-service restaurant.
